OPTION A

3 DAYS/2 NIGHTS MIKUMI NATIONAL PARK

Itinerary

DAY 1:

6:00 am – Commence your Safari. Drive from Dar to Mikumi National Park. Breakfast will be at Chalinze

1:00 pm – Lunch at Morogoro town, then proceed to Mikumi for half day Game Drive until sunset

7:30 pm – Dinner and overnight in Mikumi

 

DAY 2:

7:00 am – Breakfast

8:00 am – Full day Game Drive in Mikumi National with lunch/picnic lunch

7:30 pm – Dinner and overnight in Mikumi

 

DAY 3:

7:00 am – Breakfast

8:00 am – Drive back to Dar with a stop at Morogoro town for lunch.

OPTION B

3 DAYS/2 NIGHTS SELOUS GAME RESERVE

Itinerary

DAY 1:

6:00 am – Commence your Safari, drive from Dar to Selous Game Reserve. Breakfast will be at Kibiti.

1:00 pm – After lunch go for Boat Safaris along the Rufiji River, a very exciting Safari experience, seeing wildlife from the comfort zone of a boat along a river.

7:30 pm – Dinner and overnight in Selous

DAY 2:

7:00 am – Breakfast

8:00 am – Go for Game Drive in the Selous Game Reserve

1:00 pm – Lunch/picnic lunch

2:00 pm – Walking Safaris in the park

7:30 pm – Dinner and overnight in Selous

 

DAY 3:

7:00 am – Breakfast

8:00 am – Drive back to Dar-Es-Salaam. Lunch will be at Kibiti

OPTION C

4 DAYS/3 NIGHTS RUAHA NATIONAL PARK

Itinerary

DAY 1:

6:00 am – Commence your Safari, drive from Dar to Iringa. Breakfast will be at Chalinze town and lunch at Morogoro. You shall arrive at Iringa late in the evening and lodge in Iringa town.

7:30 pm – Dinner and overnight in Iringa

 

DAY 2:

7:00 am – Breakfast

8:00 am – With picnic lunch, drive to Ruaha National Park through a never ending rough road, for a full day Game Drive. It takes 2 hours of adventurous drive to get to Ruaha National Park from Iringa town. This is one of the few Tanzania’s famous wilderness area where one can have a rare experience of game viewing spiced up by the fascinating landscape which make very good and exciting Walking Safaris

7:30 pm – Dinner and overnight Ruaha

DAY 3: 

7:00 am – Breakfast

8:00 am – Go for historical and cultural tour where you shall get to explore Tanzania’s Southern tribes, early trade routes which were used by Arab caravan, European explorers such as Burton and Speke, Chief Mkwawa himself used these trade routes to visit his chiefdoms Sangu and Gogo. The park area often hailed as the land of the brave Chief Mkwawa, the Chief of the hehe people who resisted against the German attack in the late 19th century. Explore some of the cultural sites that were used for rituals such as “Ganga la Mafunyo”, Nyanywa and Chahe, Painting rock at Nyanywa, the “Gogo”  chief “Mapenza” grave at Mpululu and “Mkwawa” spring area believed to be used by Chief Mkwawa. Other historical sites near the park include Isimila pillars near Iringa town, Kalenga, Mlambalasi, Lugalo and God’s bridge just to mention a few

2:00 pm – After lunch drive to Iringa town. Evening at Iringa at leisure

7:30 pm – Dinner and overnight Iringa

 

DAY 4:

7:00 am – Breakfast

8:00 am – Drive back to Dar-Es-Salaam with lunch in Morogoro town.
