After breakfast, depart for Akagera National Park. Enjoy a half-day game drive, with chances to see elephants, buffaloes, lions, rhinos, and leopards. In the afternoon, take a boat safari on Lake Ihema, where you can spot hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of birds.

Set out on a full-day game drive through the park’s diverse landscapes, from wetlands to savannah. Spot more wildlife, including zebras, giraffes, and antelopes. In the afternoon, return to Kigali for the night.

Visit the Ethnographic Museum and the King’s Palace in Nyanza to learn about Rwanda’s rich history. After lunch, continue the journey to Nyungwe National Park for an overnight stay.

Begin the day with a guided hike to a beautiful waterfall inside Nyungwe Forest, passing through lush vegetation and spotting birds along the way. In the afternoon, take on the famous canopy walkway for breathtaking views of the forest.

After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before trekking into the forest in search of chimpanzees. After lunch, drive to Kibuye, a scenic lakeside town on the shores of Lake Kivu.

Take a boat ride on Lake Kivu, visiting different islands including Monkey Island and Peace Island. After lunch, transfer to Gisenyi, a lakeside town near the border with the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Start the day by visiting local hot springs, followed by a tour of a coffee plantation where you will learn about the entire coffee-making process. Later, visit a tea plantation before heading to Volcanoes National Park.

Early morning departure to the Volcanoes National Park headquarters for a briefing. Hike through the forest in search of mountain gorillas. Once located, spend an hour observing these magnificent primates before returning to the lodge.

Hike Mount Bisoke, a dormant volcano with a stunning crater lake at the summit. The trek takes approximately 3-4 hours to ascend and 2 hours to descend. In the afternoon, return to Kigali for the night.

Spend your final day exploring Kigali. Visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial, the Campaign Against Genocide Museum, Nyamirambo Old City, and a local craft market for souvenirs. In the afternoon, transfer to the airport for your flight home.
