Day 1: Journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Your safari begins with pickup from Kampala or Entebbe, followed by a scenic road transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Along the way, enjoy views of Uganda’s countryside, farmland, and small towns. Look out for baboons, antelopes, and birdlife as you get closer to the park.
Upon arrival, check into your lodge and enjoy the rest of the evening unwinding in nature.
Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kyambura Gorge & Nature Walk
Start your day with an exciting trek through the Kyambura Gorge, home to a community of habituated chimpanzees. Guided by park rangers, explore the thick forest trails as you search for these intelligent primates in their natural habitat.
In the afternoon, relax with a leisurely nature walk, where you may spot Colobus monkeys, colorful butterflies, and various bird species that thrive in this vibrant ecosystem.
Day 3: Game Drive & Boat Safari on Kazinga Channel
Rise early for a morning game drive in the Kasenyi Plains, a prime area for spotting wildlife. Keep your camera ready for lions, elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, and other savannah animals. Your expert guide will share fascinating insights into the park’s ecosystem.
In the afternoon, take a peaceful boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, famous for its dense hippo population, crocodiles, and abundant birdlife. Watch elephants and buffaloes drink at the shoreline—a perfect way to end the day.
Day 4: Return to Kampala or Entebbe
After a relaxed breakfast, begin the return journey to Kampala or Entebbe. Along the way, stop at the Equator for a fun photo opportunity and visit local craft shops if time allows.
Arrive back in the city in the afternoon or evening, marking the end of your incredible safari experience.
