You’ll also enjoy a peaceful boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, go on game drives through the savannah, and walk through the lush swamps and forests — all while guided by local experts. This safari combines unforgettable animal encounters, beautiful landscapes, and cultural experiences.
Day 1: Arrival & Travel to Kibale Forest
After your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, your guide will meet you and begin the road trip to Kibale Forest National Park.
You’ll pass green landscapes, local villages, and make a stop for lunch at a local restaurant along the way.
In the evening, arrive at your lodge near Kibale. Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy a relaxing walk or just settle in and prepare for the chimpanzee trek the next day.
Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking & Transfer to Queen Elizabeth Park
After breakfast, head to the park office for a short briefing before starting your chimpanzee trekking in Kibale Forest. You’ll walk through the forest with an expert guide, listening for chimp calls and watching them play, feed, and swing in the trees.
After lunch, start the scenic drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, stopping at the Equator for a fun photo moment.
Arrive in the evening, check into your lodge near the park, enjoy dinner, and relax.
Day 3: Wildlife Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise
Start your morning with a game drive through Queen Elizabeth National Park. Keep your eyes open for lions, elephants, antelopes, buffaloes, and birds. Your guide will help you spot animals and explain their behavior.
After lunch at your lodge, head out for an afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, where you can see large groups of hippos, crocodiles, and water birds up close.
Enjoy dinner at your lodge and maybe sit around the fire sharing stories from the day.
Day 4: Return to Entebbe
After breakfast, check out and begin your drive back to Entebbe. On the way, you can make a few scenic or cultural stops, or shop for local souvenirs.
Depending on your flight time, you may also visit local attractions in Entebbe like the botanical gardens or the wildlife education centre before your guide drops you off at the airport.
