3 Days 2 Nights Itinerary
Day 1: Dar es Salaam to Ruaha national park by flight:
7:30 am – Early morning flight from Dar-es-Salaam to Ruaha National Park. Your driver-guide will pick you up at Msembe airstrip where you shall land and take you to your lodge for lunch. After lunch relaxes at the lodge and enjoy some scenery and a bit of game drive until evening. Flight time is 3 hours. 7:30 pm – Dinner and overnight in Ruaha
Day 2: Ruaha national park full day game drive:
7:00 am – Breakfast 8:00 am – Full day Game Drive and Walking Safaris at Ruaha National Park one of Tanzania’s best-kept wildlife secrets. Previously inaccessibility has ensured being unaffected by the ravages of mankind. It is Tanzania’s biggest elephant sanctuary and location of the Great Ruaha River flowing along its eastern border creating spectacular gorges. The Ruaha National Park is home to hippos and crocodiles, waterbucks, reedbucks, buffaloes, lions, leopards, hyenas, wild dogs, jackals, and many elephants. The best time to visit is the dry season from May to December where animals are concentrated around the shrinking watercourses. Activities consist of game drives through the park and a ranger-guided walk in the dense bush. 7:30 pm – Dinner and overnight in Ruaha
Day 3: Ruaha national park to Dar es Salaam by flight:
7:00 am – Breakfast 8:00 am – Half day Game drive 1:00 pm – After lunch, your driver-guide will take you to Msembe airstrip for your flight back to Dar-es-Salaam 4:30 pm – Arrive in Dar-es-Salaam. Flight time (3 hours).
