5 Days 4 Nights Itinerary
Day 1: Drive to Selous Game Reserve from Dar-es-Salaam:
7:30 am – Your driver guide picks you up from your hotel in Dar-es-Salaam or airport and drive to Selous Game Reserve. You shall reach Selous in the afternoon. Upon your arrival you shall check in at your lodge, have your lunch, after lunch go for a boat Safari along the Rufiji River where you shall get to see crocodiles, hippos. You can also see some game grazing along the river. The travel time/distance is approximately (6-7Hrs / 1,575 kms) 7:30 pm – Dinner and overnight in Selous
Day 2: Full day at Selous Game Reserve:
7:00 am – Breakfast 8:00 am – Full day Game drive at Selous Game Reserve. Selous Game Reserve is named after the explorer Frederick Selous and it is the largest protected wildlife reserve and a UN World Heritage site and a pristine uninhabited area larger than Switzerland. The topography of the park varies from rolling savannah woodland, grassland plain and rocky outcrops cut by the Rufiji River and its tributaries. The park is famous for boat Safaris and walking Safaris in the bush accompanied by an armed ranger or Maasai guide 7:30 pm – Dinner and overnight in Selous
Day 3: Full day at Selous Game Reserve:

Day 4: Drive to Mikumi National Park from Selous:
7:00 am – Breakfast 8:00 am – Drive to Mikumi National Park for lunch and have an all afternoon Game Drive until late evening. Mikumi is nestled between the Uluguru Mountains to the East and the Rift Valley Escarpments to the Southwest.It is close to the Selous ecosystem and therefore is part of it. `It benefits from the highest game density of the entire conservation area. The Mikumi National Park obtains a good impression of the African animal world and is suitable very well for a short visit. 7:30 pm – Dinner and overnight in Mikumi
Day 5: back to Dar-es-Salaam:
7:00 am – Early morning Game Drive in Mikumi National Park followed by a late breakfast. After late breakfast drive back to Dar-es-Salaam
