Leave Nairobi in the morning and drive north through the Central Highlands, passing through Nyeri town for a short stop. Continue toward the drier northern region, with incredible views of Mount Kenya along the way. Arrive at the lodge in time for lunch, then take an afternoon game drive. Samburu is known for its predators, so keep an eye out for lions, leopards, and cheetahs. As the day ends, return to the lodge for dinner and relaxation.

Spend a full day exploring Samburu National Reserve. This park is home to elephants, buffalos, giraffes, and rare species like the gerenuk, which stands on its hind legs to feed. The Ewaso Nyiro River runs through the reserve, attracting wildlife throughout the day. Birdwatchers will be delighted by the variety of species found here. Enjoy a packed lunch in the wild before continuing with the drive. Return to camp in the evening for dinner.
