4 Days 3 Nights Itinerary
Day 1 :Arusha to Mahale:
7:00 am – You will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha and be transferred to the airport for an early morning Shared Charter flight from Arusha to Mahale. After landing at Mahale Airstrip, you will be transferred to the camp/lodge by Dhow boat. You will reach the camp/lodge after one and a half hours of Dhow trip and be welcomed by Camp Staff on your arrival. Lunch at the camp followed by afternoon Chimpanzee trekking (Should time allow, alternatively short Forest Walk) Evening Sundowners on the Beach 7:30 pm – Dinner and overnight in Mahale
Day 2: Full day in Mahale
7:00 am – Breakfast 8:00 am – Go for morning Chimpanzee trekking 12:30 pm – Return to the camp/lodge for lunch and spend your afternoon at leisure. Evening Sundowners on the beach 7:30 pm – Dinner and overnight in Mahale
Day 3 :Full day at Mahale
7:00 am – Breakfast 8:00 am – Depart for morning Chimpanzee trekking 12:30 pm – Return to the camp/lodge for lunch and spend your afternoon at leisure. Evening Sundowners on the beach 7:30 pm – Dinner and overnight in Mahale
Day 4: Depart from Mahale to Arusha
7:00 am – Breakfast 8:00 am – One and a half hour transfer by Dhow boat to Mahale airstrip. Depart with Shared Charter Flight from Mahale to Arusha with Packed Lunch.
