5 Days 4 Nights Itinerary
Day 1: Arusha / Dar-Es-Salaam:
7:00 am – You will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha/Dar-Es-Salaam and transferred to the airport to board a shared chartered flight to Kigoma where a vehicle will transfer you to your lodge/hotel in Kigoma town.
1:00 pm – After lunch go for an afternoon trip to Ujiji town and Livingstone Memorial (an optional visit to a local fishing village)
7:30 pm – Dinner and overnight in Kigoma
Day 2: Gombe Forest:
7:00 am – Breakfast
8:00 am – Depart for a 2 hour Dhow boat transfer to Gombe Stream and arrive at your lodge camp. Go for morning Chimpanzee trekking
12:30 pm – Lunch at the lodge camp followed by afternoon Chimpanzee trekking. Evening Sundowners on the beach
7:30 pm – Dinner and overnight Gombe Forest
Day 3: Gombe Forest:
7:00 am – Breakfast
8:00 am – Go for morning Chimpanzee trekking
12:30 pm – Lunch at the lodge camp and afternoon at leisure. Evening Sundowners on the beach
7:30 pm – Dinner and overnight Gombe Forest
Day 4: Gombe Forest:
7:00 am – Breakfast
8:00 am – Go for morning Chimpanzee trekking
12:30 pm –Lunch at the lodge camp and afternoon at leisure. Evening Sundowners
7:30 pm – Dinner and overnight Gombe Forest
Day 5: Arusha / Dar-Es-Salaam:
7:00 am – Breakfast
8:00 am – Your driver guide will transfer you to Katavi airstrip where you shall board a shared charter flight back to Arusha with packed lunch.
