3 Days 2 Nights Itinerary
Day 1 : Drive from Arusha to Ngorongoro:
12:30 pm – Lunch in Arusha, Tanzania’s tourist hub. Arusha is a city located in Northern Tanzania, at the foot of Mount Meru. 2:00 pm – Drive from Arusha to Ngorongoro. (Travel time/distance is approximately 4 hours/211 km) 7:30 pm – Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro
Day 2 : Ngorongoro Crater to Lake Manyara National Park.:
7:00 am – Breakfast 8:00 am – With our packed lunch boxes we go for a Crater game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater. This is a conservation area and a UNESCO World Heritage site, also known as “the eighth wonder of the world”. Ngorongoro Crater is one of Africa’s most popular wildlife sanctuaries. It offers a unique biosphere which has remained virtually unchanged since the beginning of time. Deep within the Crater, enclosed by towering walls, some 25,000 large mammals wander the plains, lakes, and forests of “the land that time forgot” dominated by enormous bull elephants, rhinos and lions. 2:00 pm – Drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Travel time/distance is approximately (1 Hr / 70 km) 7:30 pm – Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara National Park.
Day 3 : Drive back to Arusha:
7:00 am – Breakfast 8:00 am – Game drive commences in the Lake Manyara National Park. The compact game-viewing circuit through Manyara offers a virtual microcosm of the Tanzania safari experience from the entrance gate, the road winds through an expanse of lush jungle-like groundwater forest where hundreds-strong baboon troops lounge nonchalantly along the roadside, blue monkeys scamper nimbly between the ancient mahogany trees, dainty bushbuck tread warily through the shadows, and outsized forest hornbills honk cacophonously in the high canopy. 12:30 pm – Lunch then more game drive until evening. 10:30 pm – Drive back to Arusha. Travel time/distance is approximately (2½ Hrs / 130 km)
