6 Days 5 Nights Safari to Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara

Day 1 :Drive from Arusha to Tarangire:

12:30 pm – Lunch in Arusha, Tanzania’s tourist hub. Arusha is a city located in Northern Tanzania, at the foot of Mount Meru on the eastern edge of the eastern branch of the Great Rift Valley. Arusha has a temperate climate. The city is close to the Serengeti National Park, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Lake Manyara National Park, Olduvai Gorge, Tarangire National Park, Mount Kilimanjaro and Arusha National Park on Mount Meru. 2:00 pm – Safari departs. Drive from Arusha to Tarangire. Travel time/distance is approximately (2½ Hrs / 140kms) 7:30 pm – Dinner and overnight in Tarangire.

Day 2: Full day in Tarangire National Park:

7:00 am – Breakfast 8:00 am – Game drive starts at the Tarangire National Park. This Park is the sixth largest National Park in Tanzania. The name of the park originates from the Tarangire river that crosses through the park, being the only source of water for wild animals during dry seasons. The swamps are the focus of the largest selection of breeding birds anywhere in the world. The park is also famous for the termite mounds that dot the landscape. Drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Day 3 : Karatu to Serengeti:

8:00 AM: Enroute game drive to Serengeti as you pass through. After check in permits, with open roof start your game drive right from the entrance gate at Serengeti as you proceed further in the park as you explore the Seronera river circuit and see the animals that come to drink water there. In the evening have your dinner and overnight at Seronera.

Day 4: Serengeti Full day:

After your breakfast, with picnic lunch, go for a full day game drive in Serengeti. In the evening it’s dinner and overnight at Seronera.

Day 5: Serengeti – Ngorongoro – Karatu:

After your breakfast, with picnic lunch go to Ngorongoro for a full day Crater game drive and exploration of the Crater floor and get to see the big 5 in the Caldera. In the late afternoon exit the Crater and drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight at Farm of dreams lodge.

Day 6 : Drive to Lake Manyara National Park.

After your breakfast drive to Lake Manyara for a full day game drive. The park is famous for its tree climbing lions and and an abundance of wildlife including many primates. Explore the soda ash lake and see the pink flamingos. In the late afternoon drive to Arusha for drop off. End of tour.
