7 Days 6 Nights Itinerary

Your driver-guide, with a 4×4 open roof safari vehicle, will pick you up at 2:00 pm in the afternoon, from your hotel in Arusha town and drive you to Mto Wa Mbu for your dinner and overnight at Manyara Wildlife Safari Camp.

You shall have your breakfast at 7:00 am, and with packed lunch-box, at 8:00 am, you shall go for a full-day game drive in Manyara famous for its tree-climbing lions. Explore its beautiful landscapes, see the Soda as lake, the pink flamingos, and get to adventure on the Manyara Treetop Walkway high up along the forest canopy for a unique perspective of wildlife viewing. In the evening, drive to Karatu for your dinner and overnight at Octagon Lodge.

You shall have your breakfast at 7:00 am and at 8:00 am, with lunch box, you shall depart from Karatu and drive to Serengeti. With open roof, start game drive right from the entrance towards Grumeti river which support lush river side forest. You shall see the Nile crocodile prey upon thirsty animals and the snorting hippos after their night feeding. After your lunch at 12:30 pm, make longer trips to some other parts of the Western corridor and continue game drive until evening. Have your dinner and overnight at Serengeti Heritage Camp.

After your breakfast at 7:00 am, with packed lunch-box, you shall start game drive at 8:00 am and drive to Southern Serengeti and get to see the migration herd. In the evening you shall depart from Serengeti and drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Forest Tented Lodge.

7:00 am – Breakfast 8:00 am – Drive to Tarangire National Park. 1:00 pm – Lunch at Lodge/Camp 2:00 pm – Game Drive at Tarangire National Park. A unique combination of diverse habitats enables it to support more than 30 species of large herbivores and nearly 500 species of birds. Its landscape, originally formed by volcanic activity, has been sculptured by the concerted action of wind, rain and sun. It now varies from open grass plains in the south, savannah with scattered acacia trees in the centre, hilly, wooded grassland in the north, to extensive woodland and black clay plains to the west. Small rivers, lakes and swamps are scattered throughout. In the South-East rise the great volcanic massifs and craters of the Ngorongoro Highlands. Each area has its own particular atmosphere and wildlife. 7:30 pm – Dinner and overnight in Tarangire. Travel time/distance is approximately (6 Hrs / 330 kms)

You shall have your breakfast at 7:00 am, and at 8:00 am, with packed lunch-box, you shall go for a full-day game drive and get to explore the crater floor and see for yourself why it is one of the world’s most astonishing and renowned natural wonders. In the evening, ascend from the crater and have your dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Forest Tented Lodge.

After breakfast at 7:00 am, with packed-lunch box, drive back to Arusha with optional stops on the way to purchase carvings.
